Any other African Americans with ancestral ethnic mixtures?
Lately, I have been searching into my ancestors lineage and have found that my family has European, Native American and African ancestry. Has anyone else looked into there line to find out what’s there?
Most African Americans have a degree of Native American, European (all of our surnames are European), and African ancestry in them. The question is: How much of each do you have in you? That’s what gives us different skin shades, different hair textures, etc. From what I know of my Native American part, I have Mohawk, Cherokee & Blackfoot in me. More Mohawk than the other two, Blackfoot being the least. I want to trace back more because I find it so interesting!!
