Does anyone know a website where you can make a family tree & its not limited acess to look at other peoples once you’ve signed up?

(“Denny’s” is a chain of inexpensive coffee shops in the USA famous for large, cheap breakfasts. They serve mediocre dinners for people who are either on a limited budget or in a hurry, too. You must have something similar in the UK, but I don’t know what the name is.)
It looks to me like you are asking for a web site just like Ancestry.com but for free. There isn’t one. If the omelet fairy delivered free breakfasts to every good little boy and girl every morning (and to us sarcastic geezers as well), Denny’s would go out of business. If there was a site “just like” Ancestry but free, Ancestry would go out of business.
You need two things, a program to collect data, and data.
There are three programs you can download for free, and a number of them you can buy for less than the cost of dinner for two at Denny’s.
The Mormons will give you PAF for free because that’s what they do; they are to genealogy what Zen Buddhists are to gardens.

Roots Magic and Legacy will both let you download “Lite” versions of their programs for free, in hopes that you like them so much you’ll pay $29 to get the full strength version:
